    Tim Herriage, a native to the DFW Metroplex, is a real estate acquisition specialist.  He has purchased over 1,000 single family residences in Dallas,Houston, and San Antonio over his 9 year career.  Tim’s ability to evaluate property and negotiate transactions based on various exit strategies puts him in the top-tier of real estate investor’s nation wide.

    In 1996, after graduating from Forney High School, Tim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  He was trained as an Intelligence Analyst.  Throughout his enlistment; he received numerous awards and certifications, including five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals along with multiple combat related commendations.  Tim’s leadership and analytical training combined with his discipline and commitment to excellence have been invaluable assets to his Real Estate career.

    After completing his active duty enlistment in 2001, Tim returned to Dallas where he started his career in Real Estate.  In his first role as an acquisitions manager for Vera Homes, LLP; Tim quickly gained respect from the largest single family investment companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  As a result, Tim was recruited to head acquisitions for the top Dallas HomeVestors® franchise.  Within months, Tim increased the franchise’s acquisitions volume by 30%, and their wholesale sales volume by 50%.

    Tim continued to emerge as an acquisitions specialist, and in February 2004, was offered a partnership with Sprint Property Company.  From 2004 through 2006, Tim successfully acquired, renovated, leased, managed and/or sold over 200 properties.   This portfolio continues to produce exceptional returns, and appreciate in value.  The majority of these properties were purchased from Institutional Sellers, and were negotiated on a package basis.

    In the summer of 2006, Tim joined the ranks of HomeVestors® again, by partnering with his wife, Jennifer.  Tim and Jennifer quickly became known and respected as one of the elite franchises in the HomeVestors® system, winning numerous awards, and were regularly invited to train, educate, consult, and mentor other franchisees across the nation.

    In late 2008, Tim began looking for ways to capitalize on the decaying financial sector, and the downturn in the real estate market.  Tim and several of his colleagues formed Cynergy Real Estate Partners, LLC.  Cynergy specializes in Private offerings for real estate investments in the North Texas area.   Cynergy still manages and maintains a successful portfolio of properties.

    In early 2010, Tim began to operate an online real estate investor community.  This community, DFWInvestors.com, is focused o real estate education and networking.  Through Tim’s primary focus, Herriage Homes, Tim purchases three to five houses per month.  Tim typically wholesales more than 50% of these houses, and either “flips” the remaining properties, or retains them in a rental portfolio.  Tim enjoys training, educating, and mentoring real estate investors.
